Matara Story

The Matara Centre was born out of tragedy and hope and now is a place of celebration and inspiration. My partner and soul friend of 25 years, June Higgins, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer; it was her wish that she wanted others to benefit from her healing journey and together we designed Matara to be a wellbeing centre.

As June had wished, Matara has evolved into the wellbeing centre we envisaged, and it continues to develop and grow. Rarely does anyone not feel inspired after their visit to Matara.
